Ohio College Student LIED About Being Attacked By Trump Supporters Because Of Racism & Politics

Surprise, Surprise…

Just wanted to post this in the I told you so column. Racism does exist in this world and that is a sad thing. However an even sadder thing is when a political ideology uses fear-mongering and race baiting tactics to try to win political elections. That ideology would be the authoritarian political ideology pushed by the modern Democratic Party.

The Democratic Party has been working this whole election to paint a pretty narrative for themselves that President Elect Donald Trump is a racist. That is a false narrative, one I even believed for a short time. That narrative has been perpetuated by deceiving protesting tactics known as Bird-dogging, planted Democrats as Trump supporters spewing hateful comments and even fake news stories like this one.

The false story was given by Eleesha Long, a 24 year old BG student who 100% lied about an attack taking place in order to make our new President-Elect look bad and his many supporters including myself look racist. Not cool.

According to Long the attack was as follows…

“while walking down Crim St. to ask for yard signs, three boys began to throw rocks at me and call me the N word from across the street. I yelled back at them and they crossed the street and surrounded me. They continued to just talk trash like ‘F you’ and talked about how they were ‘making America great again.’ They shoved me a few times and then one of the boys struck me across the right cheek. They ran away after that. They ran down Crim St. and took a turn down Clough.” – Eleesha Long, BG Student (Sentinel – Tribune)

Further details include…

The police report indicates that Long initially told police she was “wearing an Obama shirt, asking residents if she could have their political yard signs,” in the 100 block of Crim between 8:30 and 9 a.m. on Nov. 9 and that the males also threw rocks at her, one of which struck her on the right side of her neck, before they crossed the street and struck her in the face. (Sentinel – Tribune)

However BG police soon saw through the staged political PR stunt because of time inconsistencies, strange Facebook and other factors including using her phone gps to dictate she wasn’t even where she said she was.

According to the the Sentinal then end of the story wasn’t great for Eleesha

Eleesha Long was charged on Thursday and subsequently released, according to a statement from the Bowling Green Police Division.  (Sentinel – Tribune)

Lets all pray this was just college stupidity and Eleesha learns a lesson. The punishment will probably not be that severe but hopefully it is enough for her not to do it again and others not to do it.

Proverbs 22:1
Choose a good reputation over great riches; being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold.

Making some man look bad is not worth making you look like a liar. Plus this foolishness is just making divisiveness in our community among races and people of all types worth. My dad has always sad if you need to push someone down to push your ideas then you need to change your ideas. Its time we start trying to unify instead of divide.

Make sure to pray for Eleesha, President Elect Trump, our community and even our current President (it can be hard sometimes, but it is worth it). We as a people must stop dividing ourselves, pray to be a better neighbor and do whatever you can to do just that.

P.S. I wanted to share this story because I didn’t believe the current coverage of the story was representative of what really happened. Below are the outlets that reported on this story and their main headline.
(OUR SOURCE) Sentinel Tribune – BG police: Report of woman’s assault on Crim Street was false
The Blade -B.G. police charge woman with falsifying report
13abc – BG police say student lied about politically driven attack
WTOL 11 – BGSU student charged after reporting fake assault

Now you know if this story were true the title would be all about how all Trump supporters are racist. Possibly the title should reflect that they are not.
